| Special Placement Cats Some of our rescued cats were born in the wild or have lived on their own for such a long time that they never developed or have lost a good working relationship with humans. We have been very successful in turning some of these cats around to become wonderful house pets. Some, however, tolerate humans but never develop a one-to-one relationship with their humans. The cats listed on this page fall into that category. We consider them "Barn or Ranch Cats," cats who are best relegated to barns on farms or ranches in rural areas. If you think this is the type of cat you would like to have, talk to the Volunteers at Happy Tails. We may be able to help you. Then stop by one of our many adoption locations to start the adoption process. |
