Unlike many organizations, Happy Tails' policy has always been to maintain our donors' privacy by never releasing our mailing list to any outside organization, charitable or otherwise. We try to acknowledge every donation with a thank you note sent to the donor by mail.

Until recently, we also published a list of donors (name only) in Paws & Tales, the Happy Tails newsletter. Publication in the newsletter was discontinued to further protect our donors' privacy and to make that space available for more articles of interest to our animal-loving readers. Now, only corporate donors and grants from foundations are acknowledged in print. If you receive any correspondence or a solicitation from an individual or organization other than Happy Tails that you can attribute to your association with Happy Tails, please notify us immediately.
