Donate Now  Donations from volunteers and generous donors are our major source of support. Certain vendors and organizations that believe in our work donate food and other supplies, and several veterinarians donate their services and needed medicines free or at a significant discount. A smaller portion of the Sanctuary's income is derived from adoption fees. In reality, adoption fees only offset a portion of the funds already spent for an animal's veterinary services and foster care. Our volunteers help to replenish our coffers by holding periodic candy sales, fundraisers, and other events. Federal and State authorities consider all donations to Happy Tails to be tax deductible. There are four ways you can donate to Happy Tails: 1. Click & Pledge: Happy Tails is registered with Click & Pledge to accept your tax-deductible donations using your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card. The connection is safe and secure, and your donation will be acknowledged electronically to provide you with a printable receipt that can be used to support your tax deduction. All money for the animals comes directly to Happy Tails. Check their Website at NetworkforGood.org or Helping.org for this and other services they provide. 3. Automatic Donation: You can arrange to support Happy Tails on an ongoing basis by having your bank send us a check automatically. Most local banks have a program where they can deduct a specific amount from your checking or savings account each month and send it directly to Happy Tails. That way you won't have to remind yourself to do it, and the bank will provide a record of your tax-deductible donation. 4. Donate by Check:Of course, you can just send us your donation by check.
