Start the search for your new companion by visiting our Cats Gallery and Dogs Gallery. The Gallery contains photos of some of the newly rescued cats residing at the Patricia L. Holmes Adoption Center located at 6001 Folsom Boulevard (at the corner of 60th Street and Folsom Blvd in East Sacramento).
Looking for a cat to bring to your loving home? Read about the Happy Tails pet for details on how and why our cats are different from those in other shelters you might visit. Once you decide that you will make a great pet guardian for a Happy Tails cat, you can either visit the Happy Tails Adoption Center or stop by an alternate adoption location to start the process. While we try to keep our web pages up to date, Happy Tails animals are in great demand, often making it difficult to post a photo and description before the animal has been adopted. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you visit our Adoption Center for a better idea of the Happy Tails animals currently available for adoption.
If you are interested in one of the animals described on this web site and are inquiring by e-mail, be sure to include your name and phone number in the e-mail message so that we can get back to you. The foster home will be able to call and give you more information. Not all animals are available at each adoption location.
