Donations, grants, bequests, adoption fees and fundraising events are our major source of support. Certain vendors and organizations that believe in our work donate food and other supplies, and several veterinarians donate their services and needed medicines free or at a significant discount. Federal and state authorities consider all donations to Happy Tails to be tax deductible.

Planned Giving

What would you do if you could no longer care for your pets, or what will happen when you pass away? Who will care for your pets? Often it is just not possible to have family or friends take in your animals. Happy Tails’ planned giving program can put your mind at ease regarding your pets‘ well-being. Happy Tails has a program in place for bequests and wills. Happy Tails is registered with Click & Pledge to accept your tax-deductible donations using your Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. The connection is safe and secure, and your donation will be acknowledged electronically to provide you with a printable receipt that can be used to support your tax deduction. Automatic Donation

You can arrange to support Happy Tails on an ongoing basis by having your bank send us a check automatically. Most local banks have a program where they can deduct a specific amount from your checking or savings account each month and send it directly to Happy Tails. That way you won’t have to remind yourself to do it, and the bank will provide a record of your tax-deductible donation.
